Is it beneficial to hire a lawyer?
Yes. A personal injury lawyer often can make a big difference in your case. Often, insurance companies take advantage of everyday people by offering lowball settlements and waivers that may release them from liability. With an attorney, you can prevent this from happening to you. You can demand the compensation you rightfully deserve.
In addition, with an attorney, you will be knowledgeable of your rights, entitlements, responsibilities and privileges. You will have someone to investigate your case in order to compile evidence that is sturdy enough to win your claim. There is nothing like advocacy, representation and guidance during any sort of legal case, claim, suit or process. We can guide you every step of the way through your legal minefield.

Are there questions that I should ask an attorney?
Yes. If you choose to hire an attorney in Florida, do not be afraid to ask him/her necessary questions. You should inquire about payment; the lawyer's strategy for handling your case; what to expect during the process; how to prepare for depositions, negotiations and other legal proceedings; and how to communicate with your attorney (especially in the event that an urgent matter arises). Our experienced attorneys live and work in Central Florida, right near our clients. We're here for you whenever you need us.

Am I required to meet you at your office?
Usually, clients meet with our attorneys at our law firm. Our firm has four conveniently located offices in Central Florida. If there is an issue that prevents you from physically meeting at one of our offices, notify us. We are always happy to work with our clients to ensure that their case has a fair chance at success. If this means meeting with you at a place other than our office, then so be it.

Does my specific incident require legal representation?
Most likely. An attorney will provide your case with the resources and a greater position to be successful. But you will not know for sure until you meet with us. That's why we strongly urge you to schedule a free case evaluation with our law firm as soon as possible.

How much will attorney expenses cost and how will I pay for your services?
At the Law Offices of Brent C. Miller, P.A., we specialize in practice areas involving a broad range of accidents and injuries. These types of cases require us to operate on a contingency basis. In other words, we will represent you free of charge until you receive your settlement. We only collect a small portion of your settlement amount if we are successful.
